Access Academy (AA) is a fully accredited school with school code #1271 under Alberta Education, in the province of Alberta, Canada. The school reports to and is annually inspected by Alberta Education. AA is a Registered Private School under Alberta's School Act and accountable to Alberta Education in delivering the provincial curriculum. All of our teachers are certified by Alberta Education.
AA is an official test center of The University of Waterloo. School has established its unique academic tutoring system to prepare students of various needs to participate in national and international contests, as well as for university prep-courses.
We have a vision of going beyond academic excellence. Our goal is to prepare students for the 21st century by equipping them to be seers, designers and creators of the future. We have gained international attention for our efforts to fit in the globalization of education in 21st century. Our students have consistently exceeded provincial standards for excellence on standardized tests. All of our graduates gain acceptance into universities and post secondary institutions of their choices.
We accept Grade 7,8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 local Canadian & International students in September and January (twice a year).
How often can I contact the school for my child’s progress?
We do not have an entrance test. Our focus is upon our methodology, which is progressive and suitable for students with a wide range of academic accomplishment and aptitudes. We focus on potentials and development of well-round citizens. Thus we provide individual assessment with different criteria.
You can apply anytime throughout the year. Applications are processed as they are received and if the grade you have applied for is full, you have the option of a waiting list. To avoid disappointment, please submit your application at least three months before the start date of the new school year.
We believe that timely communication is very important in creating and maintaining a constructive and positive educational relationship. You can speak informally or schedule a more formal meeting with the school at your convenience.
